History of Coca Cola in Photos

n May, 1886, Coca Cola was invented by Doctor John Pemberton a pharmacist from Atlanta, Georgia. John Pemberton concocted the Coca Cola formula in a three legged brass kettle in his backyard. The name was a suggestion given by John Pemberton’s bookkeeper Frank Robinson. A history of the world’s most recognized company in photos from the archives of The Coca-Cola Company. Celebrity Portraits Made of Trash

Jason Mecier – San Francisco-based artist creates portraits of celebs using pills, candy and all kinds of junk, from car parts to beer bottles. The items are often donated by the stars themselves. “I have a bag of Pam Anderson’s laundry, and a letter Paris Hilton wrote me from prison!” Mecier said. “Lady Gaga has some Hello Kitty merchandise that was used in her famous photo shoot, and Anna Nicole’s has her actual kiss print on a piece of toilet paper glued on her portrait.” says Jason Mecier.
